Mandolins? Dehydrators who offer service and what about American made products you might suggest?

I recently read that the silicone mats have chemicals not healthy and I have always steered away from using them because to me it is like cooking on Teflon. Just seems so unnatural and I like many of your readers, are into healthy alternatives. Another reason why I am starting to dehydrate my own foods. END the questions about what I am putting in my mouth and those of my pets.

For small round fruits like cherries and blueberries: I had to shop for shelves with small metal separations in the shelves because I do not want to use silicone. I wish there was a company who would make LIPS in their trays for round fruits. Do you know of any? HOw about metal accessories to put on a tray that would give edges so fruits would not roll to the back or front when placing in the machine or taking them out? Maybe you could patent the idea…

I ran a dog rescue for 10 years, and did dog foster and placement another 5 (total 15 years in saving lives) and 6 of our dogs are eating raw meat diets.

I wish I could dehydrate food for them too.

I’ve become a prepper, which is very popular these days… So prepper ideas are huge on a site like yours too.

LOVE this website. I shared it on my FB pages and also on What’s Happening in Bollinger County (Missouri)

Thanks for all the tried and true information.5 stars
