Yes, it definitely is a more simple chili recipe – we find that we make chili more often while fall camping so we don’t want to have to cook it for a long time since it gets cold in the evenings. But, your idea of making chili ahead and then bringing it along is a great solution. All the time-consuming work is done in the comfort of your warm kitchen, and then all you have to do is heat it up over the campfire!
